Abstract
Individualisierung, Migration und Globalisierung haben zu einem immer schneller sich vollziehenden Prozess der religiösen Pluralisierung geführt. Wie können Spitalseelsorgerinnen und -Seelsorger in der modernen Gesundheitsinstitution der pluralistischen Herausforderung begegnen? Die Beispiele Stanford, Kalifornien und Basel illustrieren die organisationalen Bedingungen und die Handlungsformen interreligiöser und multispiritueller Seelsorge im Spital.
