Abstract
By exploiting the interference effects between the higher harmonics in the current phase relation (CPR) of hybrid Josephson junctions, it is possible to construct a Josephson element with an almost arbitrary CPR using only two junctions in a superconducting loop. This allows the realization of superconducting circuits that can operate in different regimes and can be continuously tuned from one regime to another, while maintaining a simple design.
