Abstract
The exceptional quality of hexagonal boron nitride crystals that can be cleaved into few layers provides ultrathin
dielectrics, thereby opening a route to ultrasmall capacitors with large capacitances. With such capacitors, the
superconducting transmon qubit is scaled down by orders of magnitude.
