Abstract
While a few years ago the world seemed on a path towards increasing peacefulness, the situation in 2017 is different. Stability has become unhinged as armed conflict and terrorism are on the rise and geopolitical power struggles are intensifying. This article examines how peace mediation has evolved in the last decade and identifies ten developments in regards to the changing international context and the peace mediation practice.
