Abstract
Passenger rights are one aspect of the Swiss-EU bilateral agreement on air transport. The relevant rules are taken over from EU law. In EU, these rules have been interpreted widely by the Court of Justice. The article discusses, which aspects of this case law, as far as compensation for long delays are concerned, are relevant also in the EU-Swiss context.
