Grundrechtsschutz durch Verfahrensrecht - Das Grundrecht auf gute Verwaltung und ein Europäisches Verwaltungsverfahrensrecht

The discussion concerning the codification of a European Administrative Procedure Law is not new. The proposal of the European Parliament concerning a Regulation of Administrative Procedure Law, however, constitutes a new step in a development which could result in a uniform protection of fundamental rights through common principles of administrative procedures. This would not only have an effect on the institutions, bodies and agencies of the European Union and potentially on national administrative law, but also on legal protection in the context of the self-administration of the Union.
