Abstract
We achieve successful explosions (of otherwise non-explosive models) by enhancing the neutrino luminosity in two different ways. The resulting electron fraction Y_e in the innermost ejecta reaches or in some zones even exceeds 0.5. The effects of Y_e# 0.5 on the nucleosynthesis yields in the innermost zones of core collapse supernovae are presented.
