The structure of excited states of even-even Dy-164 was investigated in (n,gamma) and (n,n`gamma) reactions measured at the nuclear reactors of ILL Grenoble and of Nuclear Research Center of Latvian Academy of Sciences. The level scheme was extended up to 2500 keV. The level energies were determined more precisely and their depopulation established. 18 rotational bands are proposed. The experimental results are compared with the quasiparticle - phonon model calculations.
