A new flanged bombardier beetle from the Indomalayan Region (Carabidae, Paussinae, Paussini)

Recent entomological surveys in Laos have revealed new species of myrmecophilous flangedbombardier beetles. Here we describe and illustrate Paussus serraticornis sp.nov., a paussine characterizedmainly by its distinctive antennal club. It shares characters with members of the Paussus hystrix and P.cucullatus groups.
