This article offers an approach to the linguistic behaviour and attitudes of first and second year high school students in two secondary schools in A Coruña - IES A Sardiñeira and IES Ramón Menéndez Pidal - which are located in neighbourhoods of different socio-economic character. For this purpose, we rely on data obtained through 89 sociolinguistic questionnaires filled in by the adolescents, as well as 6 interviews conducted with the teachers of the respective schools.
