Abstract

Synthetic strategies have been developed for the preparation of in-chain metallated oligonucleoticles, in which the oligonucleoticle sequence is interrupted by a metal-containing motif. In our work, oligopyricline metalbinding domains are used and approaches are outlined using both labile and non-labile metal centres.
